Dafodill narcussus

Playing in the garden getting some nice stock images, I photographed this narcissus (or mini dafodill in my words).
Really low angle made it look really huge and the fill in flash worked a treat to bring out both the sky and the flower.

A very pretty flower hence the name.
In Greek mythology, Narcissus was a hunter who was known for his beauty. He was the son of the river god Cephissus and nymph Liriope. He was proud, in that he disdained those who loved him. Nemesis noticed this behaviour and attracted Narcissus to a pool, where he saw himself in the water fell in love with his own reflection. Unable to leave the beauty of his reflection, Narcissus lost his will to live. He stared at his reflection until he died.
